Wait, he's saying clouds shift? I like how he said "I don't care how many people say this is normal. It is not."

@jon-nyc said in We’re now in the business of shipping advanced AI chips to China: It’s not so much the tax it that we now have a financial stake in Chinese AI infrastructure buildout. Seems ….. misguided. Heard a podcast about it the other day.... the short version is China would eventually build chips as good as Nvidia, so might as well let a US company (Nvidia) control the market supply for as long as possible thereby letting our country control China's AI abilities, indirectly.

Wow! That's got to be about the limit when there's all the pressure of the opposing team running you down. In rugby the record for a penalty is 81 yards; and it was at an angle, 5yards in from the touchline.

That GT63 is a midlife crisis car. A real finger-up to government car tax crap, and climate crisis whining

In the late 60s and early 70s snap on bubble visors covering the face were common among small displacement motorcyclists and moto-crossers. A friend of mine who had a street version Kawasaki 90 sported one until one day a yellow jacket wasp managed to get in underneath while he was riding. All ended well, but from then on he dispensed with the visor and wore goggles. The bubble visor ended up behind him on the road or someone’s front lawn. He never bothered to check or look for the wasp. Glad it worked well for you also, jon.

Judging from the abstract, the algorithm would actually be slower than Dijkstra's if the graph is not sparse. But still a cool result. Also, it was published at a reputable venue and survived peer review, it's not just a random arxiv paper.

@Axtremus said in Why has no DoJ employee leaked any of the Epstein files?: @Horace said in Why has no DoJ employee leaked any of the Epstein files?: Depending on the veracity one gives Elon, we can already say there has been a leak of parts of the Epstein files. Just not one with any there there. Since Elon has never been a DoJ employee, whether Elon leaked anything has no bearing on the question on why has no DoJ employee leaked any of the Epstein files. It Elon has seen the Epstein files, or been told of them regarding specifics about Trump, we have a leak. Thus my conditionalizing on Elon’s veracity.

Ideological bubbles and echo chambers are probably more biased and monothematic than your typical political response from even the most sycophantic version of ChatGPT.
